Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
From your post I understand that you're not seeing music that was either downloaded or synced to your iPhone. Do you use Apple Music? If so, then I suggest that you make sure it is enabled, and you have iCloud Music Library enabled:
Sync Apple Music across your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and computer
