I'm not quite sure I understand your question. What is preventing you from 'getting to things', and what does that have to do with anyone's high school?

Apps are locked to the ID that purchased them and you have to log into that account to update them.
You have to do as the others said, follow the instructions in the Apple article for what to do when selling/giving away a Mac
