How to reset Finder tags to default?

Hi,

I'm looking to reset the tags in Finder back to default. I tried deleting the finder plist as well as the sidebar list plist, but that didn't work. After doing some research online, it seems they are apparently stored in com.apple.metadata:_kMDItemUserTags? If so, where is that file stored so I can delete it?

Thanks

The tags on an individual file(s) or folder(s) can be reset by selecting those filesystem objects in the Finder, right-clicking on them, and selecting the Tags… menu item. Position the insert beam behind all shown oviform tag items, and then back space all to remove, followed by a return to set the change.
