Gmail overriding Hotmail account setting on ipad
Shortly after setting up Hotmail.ca on my iPad3, reading mail and sending mail, I noticed that the mail is being sent from gmail. I changed the default account and still the problem persists. I noticed that Gmail is overiding the Hotmail address account setting seconds after deleting the account and setting it up again. Here is three snapshots of that process.
1. Set up the account, below is exact moment when the account parameters are accepted as entered, before the window slides to options.
2. The above frame slides left having been accepted leading to the account options selection, note ACCOUNT is as entered.
3. Mere seconds later I witness the ACCOUNT feild change before my eyes to a gmail of mine automatically as shown below.
Thinking this was related to iCloud, I removed both accounts from my iPhone 4S and the iPad3, set up both emails on both devices and the problem persists on the iPad3, but not on the iPhone4S which never had the issue to begin with.
How do I resolve this?
