Mar 30, 2016 12:11 PM in response to Hirotoby rccharles,#globalfooter, #globaldisclaimer
Bingo! Thanks.
--------------------------------
The double scrolling does disappear when running without Hiroto's latest suggest and scrolling at 100%. I normally run the forums at 130% even with my reading glasses on. I've forgotten how customized I have made my Firefox web browsing.

Mar 30, 2016 12:27 PM in response to Hirotoby rccharles,I had neither of these rules in my css sheet.
I do not know what #global-nav-wrapper does not display. I tried it & could not see a change. I looked at my discussion with posts and my list of posts.
How do these two rules relate?
#globalfooter, #globaldisclaimer { width: 80% !important; }
#global-nav-wrapper {display: none !important; }
Do I use both or the first one? I interpret your comments as I need both but I'm not sure.

Mar 30, 2016 12:35 PM in response to rccharlesby Hiroto,Yes, I mean both rules.
(If you have already adjusted global navigation at the top so that it does not have fixed min-width, the second rule would not be necessary, though)

PS. #global-nav-wrapper is a wrapper element which contains the black navigation bar at the top of these pages. If you don't see it in the first place, I guess you have already hidden it in which case you don't need the second rule.
EDIT: added PS.

Mar 30, 2016 1:22 PM in response to rccharlesby rccharles,Here is where I'm at with the css.
Pastebin has been taken over by ads. But download still works.

Mar 31, 2016 3:20 AM in response to rccharlesby Hiroto,Ah. You're correct. There's the following rule which has already voided the fixed-width layout of #body-apple element. And indeed the CSS I'm employing contains this rule as well !
#body-apple { width: 100% !important; min-width: 0px !important; }So the following rule is just for optionally hiding the top black navigation bar.
#global-nav-wrapper {display: none !important; }All the best,

You can get a nice clean "specialty FREE" look in the threads and Profile Bio pages on your computer browsers with > Adjust the format and layout of ASC Pages-NoBadges - Themes and Skins for Apple - userstyles.org
Get Stylish add-on > excerpted from https://userstyles.org/
The easiest way to use user styles is to use Stylish for Firefox, Stylish for Chrome, Stylish for Safari, or Stylish for Opera. It's all free, by the way.
