Q: My sound is gone for all notifications why?

I Have the iPad Air 2 don't know how or when but I have no sound not even when I'm playing solitaire it's all turned on even on side button can someone help please thanks

For the notifications, check to see if do not disturb is on. Settings> Do not Disturb.
For the other sounds and notifications:
Do you hear sounds with headphones in?
Hold the sleep/wake and home button until the Apple logo appears.

TThanks it wasn't the do not disturb but it helped me find what it was for some reason my mute button was turned on.
