Q: Signing of older iOS installed with Configurator

I need to switch an existing iphone device running iOS8.4 (and stay on iOS8.4) into supervised mode, with that procedure it seem that it can work.

But at the end, will the final process ask to sign that iOS and since the signing of iOS8 is now close...will it work?

We have a custom apps that create issues with ios9, so we need to stay on ios8 until future update.

Thank you

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4

If you perform an Erase all Content and Settings on the device, it won't force you to update.  I would imagine you could do that, and then plug into configurator to supervise the device.

    Not working,

I also tried with the Configurator 1.5 using the custom iOS and it won't installed it, some errors are generated related to the signing of the iOS.

When trying to switch to supervised mode, it will update no matter what I try.... thank you Apple !! Let me manage my devices the way I won't, not the other way around !!
