Mar 24, 2016 12:44 AM in response to badhanrby Ingo2711,Has this phone been registered to another Apple ID in the past? If yes, the Activation Lock might still be active. Check this article about how to disable this security feature:
Turn off Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support
If you did set up the the very first time, using your Apple ID and password, log into your iCloud account on your computer and disable "Find my iPhone" for this device.
After that connect to your computer and set it back to factory settings, described in this article:
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support
