I have 2 issues with my Mac Pro
1.My Mac Book Pro is missing to show the Airdrop Icon and not sure how to get it back
2.Not able to detect the Hard Disk (1TB) and same is showing in my friends MAc Pro
My Mac is new one Mid 2014 so hope it should support Airdrop and Detect hard disk
Could you please help me to sort this out will be great ful.

1. Choose Finder > Preferences, and then click Sidebar.
2. Select the items you want to show in the sidebar.
It is a little unclear, they are not showing in Finder?
Finder>Preferences>Sidebar>Airdrop
Finder>Preferences>Sidebar>Hard Disk
HD not on the Desktop?
Finder>Preferences>General>Show items on Desktop>Hard Disk
Thanks Kaz... My issue is here even in the sidebar the Air drop is not showing...any input on how i can restore

Did you try rebooting your machine?
Did you try re-installing the Combo update? Download OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 Combo Update
I tried to download the combo updates and still no luck.....is there any settings to do which i missed to restore ......Airdrop is not at all showing in entire system.
Are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi both working?
