Q: FaceTime and iMessage won't allow me to sign in

When i try to log in to iMessage or to FaceTime. It either doesn't do anything and acts like its loading or says "An error occurred during authentication". I literally got my Mac mini yesterday and I'm updated to the latest version of Mac OS X El Capitan and all other services work perfectly fine.

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
