bluetooth not working after upgrade to El Capitan from Yosemite

Question

Simple really.

I upgraded to El Capitan from Yosemite yesterday. Before the upgrade all bluetooth was working fine. Now it is not.

No devices are showing up in the devices window.

It is now working.

The solution.

I went to my MBA 11 and connected the BT mouse to check it was working. It was.

I went back to my MBP15 and the BT mouse wasn't working. I switched on my WiFi (it was off) and my BT mouse connected and is now working.

Is that normal?
