how to reduce data size of photos to attach to yahoo email

I cannot send several iPhotos on yahoo without them being rejected by recipients server. I can't find a way to reduce before sending.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

In regards to Larry's suggestion here's where you can add your Yahoo email account to Mail:

Then you'll get this option for adjusting file sizes of image attachments:

Export using the size options in the export window -- Exporting From iPhoto

Or us Mail which includes a resize option both when you click Mail in iPhoto and in the Mail compose window
