Greetings! I have an iPhone 5s running 9.2.1, and a MacBook Pro running 10.10.5. I have Notes on both, and am connected to the Cloud. Is there a way to transfer notes I've entered on the phone to the laptop, and vice versa?

if you go into system preferences->iCloud is notes checked ?
and if you go into www.icloud.com under notes are notes displayed there
the default behaviour is that notes are kept in sync such as you want
Thank you for replying! Notes is checked, both on my phone and the computer. Notes is displayed in iCloud.com, but only two notes I moved there from my phone. I can't move them from the cloud back to the phone, or to Notes on the laptop. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I'm ****** if I know what.

Look at the Settings | Mail, Contacts, Calendars on your iPhone and see which of your mail accounts also has Notes included. There is a Push / Fetch option there and alongside each account shows you what is included when data is exchanged.
I have an iCloud Account [set as Default] that has Mail, Contacts, Notes etc., plus two other mail accounts that also include Notes in their settings. Look at the Push / Fetch settings and it should be set to 15 minutes. Try Push if Fetch does not work and if both devices are on same wireless network then your Notes should appear on both devices.
I have a Macbook Pro alongside the iPhone and iPad Mini and my Notes are there on all three.

Thank you for replying and weighing in! Push is on (I think it was on before I checked). I changed the Fetch setting from manual to 15 minutes; however, my notes ("local notes") on the phone are still not showing up on Notes on the laptop. Still not sure what to do...I'm pretty computer illiterate, which is one reason I've always used a Mac.
Go into the Notes app on your iPhone. In the upper left corner, there is a left arrow (like this <). Touch it. Are the notes you're wanting on your computer, actually stored "on my iPhone?"
If they're stored on your iPhone, touch the "on my iPhone" folder. Identify which note you want to move to your computer. Swipe left. Select "Move." Make sure it's in the iCloud folder.
Okay-I selected two notes from the "on my iPhone folder, swiped left, selected move. It appears that they're in the iCloud folder. Now what? I didn't see any usable option to move them from there, and when I opened Notes on the laptop, there's....nothing.
Thanks to everyone who replied and tried to help; I give up. I guess I'm going to have to call support after all, I'm just as in the dark as when I started...
