After downloading 9.3, my iPad 2nd gen is bricked. Cannot connect to the activation server. iTunes was not able to verify device when connected to my Macbook Air when trying to restore it. Disabled find my iPad on the Cloud. Any HELP ??

Apparently there is an issue specific to the iPad2 model.

my battery died after I installed this update yesterday. Today it went from 100% to 2% while not being used at all and everything disabled. It says that home screen is sucking 81% battery!!
There is a known issue/glitch with Apple's activation servers.
Apple, I believe, has acknowledged and recognized this issue with activation server difficulties with certain iPad models and have stated that they are working on this issue and that it will be resolved as soon as possible.
Hopefully sooner.
It is affecting mostly iPad 2 models, but users with iPad 3,4 and 1st gen iPad Mini models are, also, reporting the same issue.
