Outlook showing blank area

Hey everyone,

I have recently started having a blank text window in Outlook 2016 for my Mac- opening emails is fine but whenever I click on reply or composing a new email, the message content is blank and the curser does not show up.

Weirdly, if i click in the area and type, I can't see what was entered but if I send it and then open the sent item I can see what I typed.

Make sense?

I have rebooted the Mac, ran some updates and created a new mail profile.

I also purchased CleanMyMac3 and ran that but still the same. This is on a MacBook Pro 15 (2013) running 10.11.3 and Outlook is version 15.20.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Thanks
Rob
