search icon disappeared on app store after the 9.3 update

I just updated my OS to 9.3 and then I wanted to download an app so I clicked on app store. And there is no "search" button anymore. So to see anything close to a "search" I have to go "update" or "purchased" and I see a little tiny search box on the right top. I said ok, guess now search is just a trivial action for apple people, but whatever, so I typed the thing I wanted to download. But did I get the list of results? NO! Well of course it won't find anything because this is not the proper search box. Where did the search box go?? I am not going to update my iphone now because of this.
