iPhone 4 - no WiFi connection anywhere

I have tried to connect to the WiFi at home and at my place of business and it will not work.

Recently, I had gotten a small bead stuck in the headphone port/jack and I have used a needle to try and remove it with no such luck.

My question is: Because of my messing with it too much, is it possible that I could've hit a sensor or scratched something inside of the headphone port to cause my iPhone to not connect to WiFi?

I have tried to reset it, turn airplane mode on, turn the phone off, and I have checked my WiFi router and it is working perfectly fine.

If anyone has an answer to this I would highly appreciate the help.

Thank you.
