Sorry this happened to you. A search of this forum will show that scams like this are common. Pop ups in Safari and other apps are constantly telling users that they "won" a phone, a cruise, etc. You mentioned that you gave out "your details". I suggest that you change passwords or anything that could be affected by the details you provided to avoid further problems.

You need to use your own discretion and common sense when dealing with, potential, scams. If it looks too good to be true, it, probably, is. Apple's not in the business of giving away free hardware. The pop-up may look like it's "officially" from Apple. Most likely, it isn't.

How exactly? That's ridiculous.

Its your responsibility to protect yourself nobody elses. Do you give your details to just anyone that walks up to your car in the street saying you may have one a car? And then make the car manufacturer find a way to get you not to give out details to people that approach your car.

Be serious accept your mistakes, and do not try to make Apple be responsible for your own actions.

In the future avoid those types of popups they are 99.9% of the time a scam.

Apple has no way of stopping you from clicking anything you want, and in reality no one would want this.

Anyone can copy and paste a logo, you got taken, don't believe that you won a phone ever.!
