HHow do I recover my iCloud password
Q: I forgot my iCloud password. Is it the same as my iTunes password? If not how do I reset my iCloud password

I was in an abusive relationship for 6 years. I recently was able to get away, and have moved across the country. I had been keeping my iPhone 6 off because I knew my ex would try to use the find my iPhone feature as a way to track me. I went somewhere far away from where I live and turned on my phone, the device wiped itself and is now saying that it was reported lost or stolen. I need my phone back, and to contact my ex to get the previous "owners" username and password is highly dangerous for me, as he will refuse to give me this information so he can continue trying to control my life.
I really don't know what else to do, Today when I tried performing a restore at the library my phone updated to IOS 9.3, but is still saying that I have to login with his info. I have an iPhone 5 that I have been using given to me by a friend before I left, but it is so badly broken that the thing is about to fall apart, the home button is missing, the screen is cracked, and since my iPhone 6 is mine, I thought maybe I could get back into it, but how do you, when you're dealing with an abusive psychopath?
I didn't know how else to contact support, because there is no email function and the iPhone 5 has no calling only WIFI.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
No, I don't. Stuff like that he kept and it was put away where I had no access to it. Am I really stuck with a $700 brick? They need a feature for situations like this.. If someone is a victim of domestic violence and their partner has that much control over them the partner needs a way to recover their property. Gift or otherwise its mine right?? Like I said it's impossible to get anything other than my serial number and IMEI. The account that is on there was shared by he and I and everything was changed after I left, so there is absolutely no way to get Apple to unlock my phone I'm guessing.... *sigh* It scares me to know I can't turn off the find my iphone to protect myself. Yes security is great, but not if its compromising safety.
