Database Program for El Capitan

I am currently operating in Snow Leopard but plan on upgrading to El Capitan. I currently use AppleWorks 6.2.4 to maintain a few databases and print mailing labels for an organization. For example, I track donations and send letters out to donors. I know that AppleWorks does not work in El Capitan. Is there a workaround or is there a program (relatively inexpensive preferably) that will allow me to maintain such databases and print mailing labels in El Capitan?

Thanks for the information. I did speak with the iDatabase company and they advised that their program will not meet my simply needs to maintaining a database and printing labels. The database is rather small, less than 100 entries so I am thinking that there must be something out there that can meet my needs. I don't even care about importing the database, I can easily set one up from scratch.

Does AppleWorks 6.2.4 allow you to export your database into a text-based, comma separated values (CSV) document? On El Capitan, if you were to install the free, Avery Design & Print software, it will perform a Mail Merge of your CSV values into your label fields. Here's a 2-minute Avery YouTube video:
