Toshiba 1TB HDD not showing up after unplugging without ejecting - Help?

So i've been using a 1TB HDD with my mac, and recently i was watching a movie stored on the external drive and it came unplugged, and ever since it won't show up when i connect it to the mac. Below is a list of solutions i have tried...

Restarting Macbook

Using different USB Port

Using Disk Utility to repair - doesn't show up

Used a command in terminal to identify all local disks - shows up there but i don't know what to do from there

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! (sorry if i've posted to the wrong forum etc...)

Test it on another Mac.

Take the bare HDD out of the enclosure and install it into a known functional enclosure. Then reconnect it to your MBP.

Any change?

I don't have access to any other Mac/PC and I'm not comfortable taking it out of its shell, i don't even think it comes apart...

If you have an Apple store or Best Buy store nearby, test it on one of the display models.

If you see tiny Phillips screws, the enclosure will come apart.

Shut off the power to the external drive. Run a SMC reset and a pram reset on the computer. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295 https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063 Then restart the computer, plug in the external drive and power it up. See if it will now show.
