i cant update my apps it keeps saying there is a poblem with billing but the apps are free

iPhone 5, iOS 9.3

If the apps have subscriptions, then you must have a payment method setup on your iPhone.

Payment methods you can use in the iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store - Apple Support

Change or remove your Apple ID payment information

Otherwise, select ing None for payment method may allow you to download free apps > iTunes Store: Changing account information
