Is 256 ssd enough?

Hi, I am going to buy a 13' rMBP but am in a dilemma if i should get the 256gb or 512gb.

I will need to be able to boot into windows as well for school as they will provide MS office and adobe suite for my studies under windows. (so windows is only for school, i dont play games)

I personally like to store my entertainment (movies and photos) in an external hard drive, but still do like to keep a little on the ssd too. I will also be installing logic pro x onto the mac.

Thus, is 256 ssd enough for my needs or should i spend the extra $300 for the 512gb.

Also, should i use bootcamp or parallels? Does the installation of either use up excessive amount of storage?

Thank you!
