Does your iPad has Apple 1 year warranty if purchased from Kogan?

Hi guys,

I'm planning to buy an iPad Air 2 from Kogan since I have a discount code to make it cheaper. My question is can I bring it to Apple Store for repair under warranty or I have to send it back to Kogan if anything goes wrong?

It would really help my decision making! Thanks guys!

I'm sorry I get a little bit confused here. So I purchase and get the receipt from Kogan, lets say date of purchase is today, that means the warranty with Apple starts today and I can bring that receipt to an Apple Store to get my iPad fixed if something goes wrong?

That's correct. Unless you purchased an extended warranty from the store (not AppleCare), the standard 1 year warranty and Applecare extended warranty are from Apple, not any 3rd party reseller. Returns within the grace period allowed in Australia go to Kogan.

I can only offer this. First, make sure it comes in a sealed box and inside a sealed inner sleeve. And when you first turn it on, it goes thru the motion of having you register and set up an (or link to a preexisting) AppleID. Then you can visit your Support Profile and make sure it appears there (can also check coverage period and such): https://supportprofile.apple.com/

And if you ever need service, it will only be available for it in Australia. The warranty is not international.
