What do you mean, access to your apps content?
Should you jailbreak. Of course not. Besides that, discussion of jailbreak is prohibited in the forum.
Apple never built the iPhone and iOS to allow for access to the file system. This is part of their sandboxing. This protects the device from virus and disrupting the operating system.
Since you never really stated what it was you wanted to do as far as app content access, it is difficult to discuss this any further. App developers, however, create their apps for access to the data if they save data directly to the app.
Starting with iOS 8.3, users can no longer access app content through "file manager" type utilities. There are some exceptions (such as File Sharing within iTunes) but these need to be put into place by the app developer.

You can access any content created with or loaded into the app from the app itself. As to having access to all the files that comprise an app, no, your license to use the software does not grant you access to nor permissions to alter the files that actually make up the app. All you get with your payment for an app is a license to use the app, according to the terms of that license. Beyond that limited license to use, you have no "rights" concerning the software. Apps and software are not your property and the developer and Apple have the right to limit how you access it and what you can do with it.
If you mean the app's package files, then no, there is not a way to do so. But no, you should not violate the iOS terms and conditions and destabilize your device by jailbreaking, either.
