What was the reason of my iphone to stop working from the time I updated the software?

Dear yesterday at 5 pm I decided to download the new software of apple then all was fine then when the update reach near to end my phone start not to respond at all just giving 2 screen one is white with apple logo and one is black with white apple logo . At night I connect it to iTunes in my laptop I made the update there through the laptop but it's same issue it didn't work and for your information the update at the laptop was fully downloaded . So this is all what happened

According to this post, Apple releases new IOS 9.3.0. it appears they have released a new update patch. Check on that.
Chris, the new build is geared towards the iPad 2 only. My wife's iPhone 5 still shows "up to date" with 9.2.1.
