Q: iPhone 6 is disabled and needs iTunes
Hello, recently I dropped my iPhone 6 16 GB on the floor and the screen cracked. The screen would turn on; however, the touch was minimally unresponsive. The incident happened last month since I had no money and waited until I obtained the funds to fix it. I went to the local phone repair shop and fixed it there. Once I picked up the phone and checked it out, the screen told me that the iPhone is disabled and that it needs iTunes to be restored. That was strange because I do not recall ever tampering with the phones lock, especially since the phone was unresponsive to touch due to the cracked screen. I went home and got on to my computer and downloaded iTunes since this computer is new and I have not had the desire to get iTunes. Once it finished downloading, I plugged in the phone and I was prompted with "The phone is locked, please put in your passcode." A procedure in which I cannot do since the Phone is locked. Then a window opens and it prompts me for more information or to retry. Retrying does absolutely nothing, more information is too ambiguous and does not explain clearly any viable solutions.
I would absolutely admire it if someone out there could help me in restoring my phone to its state before it became unknowingly locked; I would appreciate it even more if a way as to not sacrifice all of my phones contents, especially photos, was given. Thank you for your time and potential help.
