Q: Apple ID not working to activate after latest 9.3 Version upgrade

Mar 25, 2016 7:11 AMby Ralph9430,Apple has issued a fix for this problem. Connect your device to a computer running iTunes 12.3 or later and connect the device. An updated version of iOS 9.3 will be installed that corrects the problem of not being able to activate the device. You will still need your Apple ID and password however.

cant help me unless I provide proof of purchase. I bought the IPAD 4 years ago. Does anyone still
keep receipts from 4 years ago? I'm really disappointed in Apple as it's clearly a bug many users are experiencing. There seems to be an issue with the records for my original Apple Id.
Lets look at the facts:
1) I can unlock the device using my passcode. Seems Apple don't recognise this as a feature of ownership!!!
2) I can login to iCloud on the web using my recognised iCloud Id
3) I can login using my Apple ID On the web and use it on other devices
4) I have emails stating I've setup my apple id as originally suggested
5) I have emails from purchases from Apple using that device and apple id
6) I have other devices using the same Apple Id
and now Apple still say that if I can't provide proof of purchase they cant help!!!
any suggestions?
