I think my Hard Drive is died (Imac 2009)

My IMac (3.06 4Gb, 2Tb 2009) will not start up anymore.


I've tried cmd + alt + R ect etc.. nothing works..


did my HD died ?


i think so, does anyone have a test/trick for this ?

Does it make any sound at all? If it does not that may be a failed power supply. If the computer won't startup, and you are running 10.7.x or later, then try to restart in the Recovery partition by holding down Command R. Then open Disk Utility and run Repair Disk or First Aide on your internal HD (depends on the version of OS X installed) and see if any errors come up. If they do then yes, the HD has crashed and must be replaced.
