What version of OS X/iCal/Calendar are you using?
You obviously have iCloud calendars listed in your calendar list. What others are listed?
Are you syncing calendars with any other syncing services?
Any hints in these threads?

Mar 25, 2016 1:38 PM in response to Ferd IIby TedErnst,I was using 10.11.3 when I posted and didn't realize there was a 10.11.4 update available. I've since updated and the problem seems to have resolved.
When the problem was active, I couldn't see my list of calendars at all. Now that everything seems to be working, I can verify that I have Google and iCloud calendars listed, as well as some other subscribed calendars. Seems all is well now.
