Q: Apple Music Sharing

check your expectations - Music Sharing will NOT allow two different Apple IDs to share the same content.  In other words, if you want to enjoy the same "likes" and favorites with a Sharing member, family member  - you won't get that with Apple Music - you can only get that by using the same Apple Id account -  other music services allow this as a common sense feature - I love Apple, but not allowing this feature is a little dumb.  back to Tidal i guess.

I read this as you're doing it wrong.   Why are you using one library with two different Apple IDs?

The  deployment of Apple Music on iTunes requires one Apple ID, one user account, and one library.  This means if you want two Apple IDs you need or use a user account per person, and two libraries.

I suggest the workaround is that you and your other Apple ID user create playlists that have star ratings and or love ratings.  Then enable home sharing, and view each other's libraries that contain the ratings or loves and if you'd like to copy the ratings and or loves then just do so on your library.
