Google links don't work after iOS 9.3

After update to iOS 9.3 on my iPhone 6 Plus I can no longer click on search links from Google anymore. Tried both in Safari and Chrome. Works well with Bing.com.

If I hold down on the link and choose to open in new tab it works.

restarted apps -> same result

Rebooted iPhone twice -> same result.

suggestions?

Ok, a lot of troubleshooting here is IMHO very contradictory but regardless I remain optimistic that a fix is to be released soon. BTW, I'm a Networking Specialist so digging on the issue at hand isn't merely guessing; I'm doing my best to contribute to various threads in hopes of narrowing down the issues at hand.

All I can do now is delete the booking.com apps from both iPhones and re-install the updated versions (here's hoping that the loop will be broken). Would absolutely HATE to have to re-install everything on 128GB phones. Takes forever.

Apple get your stuff together!!

The update to the app has done nothing, sadly. I power-cycled the phone after installing the app again, and registered for booking.com under a brand new account hoping this would push through the alleged loop. No go. 😟

Will hold off for another 48 hours to see if any other possible fixes manifest..

Side note, the only real differences between my dads iPhone and mine is that mine is the "S" version and mine uses the Apple Watch to sync up.

If I have to restore to factory settings eventually in hopes of resolving this bug; and that doesn't fix it... Apple is forever dead to me. I will sell all of it and move on.

Don't have time for these extremely inconvenient bugs. We pay them enough to do a MUCH better job!

R.I.P all things Apple.?.

I'll update should I restore it, but from what I read thus far that doesn't work out well and is just more time wasted. Cheers.

I suspect its the same for every person that did the update. no google links. no links through email. many apps crash and freeze onscreen i have messages in ebay but cant reply on the reply button. loads of issues. i believe apple is aware.

There was a statement to the effect that it was older iphones but not correct. I have iphone 6 plus

I Think youve misunderstood. Booking.com had a data file that triggered the link bug that existing in iOS since iOS 9.0. In order to fix it, the bad data needs to be removed from swcd. That's proving very, very hard. Even though the Booking.com people fix the issue in their app and on their server, iOS just refuses to let go.

Sorry, but illogical: If iPhone is in "airplane mode" > then shut off and back on, then deleting the app quickly after booting up; that (according to your theory on what's actually the culprit) would fix this very simple issue as the "bad code" from booking.com's app wouldn't even get pushed through. There would be zero execution. The bad code cannot affect only the internal OS, without exporting it's execution online. Apple isn't silly enough to allow an app to change the OS. Common now. There is a much bigger issue at hand here & we cannot see it.

+1, latest iPad mini, all apps affected + some apps fails to strt less you reinstall them + text editing in Safari weird now: touch to place cursor isn't working sometimes... or you are not able to edit text if you place cursor next to some word within paragraph. Did anyone tested this sh#t before releasing it???

Good to hear, being a complete novice as to all of this and no real computer knowledge, this all seems so crazy . . . nothing is working other than as I said, Safari and if I go from Chrome to open incognito tab it will open, but that is a total pain and I haven't even checked maps, etc. Today when I was trying to use one it said no data available for this area, which was a very developed area. Something seems far from right.

Thanks to everyone!
