Mar 29, 2016 11:33 AM in response to 888tech888by Northernsole,I too was too quick to upgrade.
This is the second time Apple have crippled my iPhone after an upgrade.
The upgrade to my iPhone 4 stopped WIFI from working.
The upgrade to the iPhone 5 prevented....the internet working.
After 15 years of using Apple I think its time to switch to android.

Mar 29, 2016 11:35 AM in response to Northernsoleby Rosyna,This issue is completely unrelated to any recent update. The bug is part of iOS 9.0.0 and later.

Mar 29, 2016 11:36 AM in response to Agathornby natallap,Apple: please respond to this thread! I have the exact same issue and it's very frustrating. Safari is useless now.

Mar 29, 2016 11:39 AM in response to natallapby Rosyna,There are some very convoluted instructions at https://infinitediaries.net/how-to-fix-ios-9-x-safarimail-link-bug/ They have a low chance of fixing the issue, but they have fixed it for a very small number of people.

Mar 29, 2016 11:49 AM in response to Agathornby Alhazarad70,TThe only thing that's made browsing largely doable for me besides turning off Java, is turning off 3D touch in settings/accessibility. I am able to click links on many websites but not all. This does not fix clicking on links in mail, messages, or anywhere else.

Mar 29, 2016 11:51 AM in response to Rcsamuelby DanielR1983,WORKING FIX: go to www.kijiji.com sell your crapple and buy android. You won't be bored of the pathetic iOS and their lack of innovation. They copy everything android released at least 2++ years ago and call it "new".. LOL; just look at the specs for iPhone 7. May as well call it android and put an apple on it.

Mar 29, 2016 12:44 PM in response to Agathornby Lowlander,Hi,
The bug also affected my iPhone 6 plus (I posted in this thread before) Fortunately Bing was working fine... Today Booking.com v. 11.3.2 appeared in the AppStore so I decided to give it a try, since they might have solved the problem. I installed it and guess what: now even Bing freezes!
-
Mar 29, 2016 12:56 PM in response to Lowlanderby Rosyna,11.3.2 does fix it, but that's only if the bad data has been purged, 11.3.2 won't cause the bad data to reappear. So basically, it only fixes it for new users.

Mar 29, 2016 3:47 PM in response to tugbafromistanbulby ajmwest,Dear Apple Support, I tried to contact you directly on my Ipad Air2 but your system would not work. So on my old reliable LG I have joined this discussion. Your Tech Support would not work so why am i surprised that 5 days after this problem started to appear you still have not fixed it. You are probably all on your Easter break.
Well, please enjoy it, Apple's reputation depends on customer loyalty. While you are all away eating Easter eggs your customers are fuming. At home, here in Ireland, there are three iphones and two ipads - oh and a reliable LG tablet - guess which are fully functional today! Well not the Apple products.
So, please Apple Support, let us all know when you are back off your holidays.
Oh, and by the way, I see sommeone is trying to make out it is related to "older" model Apple products.
I suppose this is relative, iphone 6s, ipad air2, ipad air, iphone 5..
Happy Easter Apple (it could be a rotten egg, difficult to tell in the glitzy rapper)

Mar 29, 2016 3:50 PM in response to ajmwestby deggie,Since ASC consists of users helping other users you should really address this to Apple support, not here. But I did have a very nice Easter brunch thank you.

Mar 29, 2016 4:02 PM in response to deggieby ajmwest,Dear Deggie,
Thank you for such a thoughtful reply.
Of course i would have posted this to Apple Support but my several attempts to complete the contact process were very unsuccessful.
Having followed this discussion thread for quite a while i wrongly assumed that the matter would be quickly dealt with by Apple.
So, as you are a Level 9, and I am a Level 1, and you responded to the remarks, I might be forgiven for assuming you are an Apple rep. In this case I really do hope ypu had a nice Easter brunch while Apple users have been frustrated by Apple's inaction.

Mar 29, 2016 4:13 PM in response to ajmwestby deggie,I did indeed, the food was excellent. Had Rachel's breakfast sandwich which consists of two english muffins, one with cheese, and roasted turkey and had marinated tomatoes on the side. Split a piece of Carrot Cake for dessert and had coffee from a local roaster. (The restaurant was Pacific Table and coffee from Avoca). Even the Apple Store in the center near the restaurant was closed on Easter so I'm sure you also wish them a nice day off.
No, don't work for Apple. Apple has released a slipstream upgrade of 9.3 (different build number) have you upgraded to it? Connect your devices to your computer and upgrade in iTunes.
Apple does not have email support no matter which type of device you use. They do have chat support for some products and of course you can always call them.
If you just want to send them your sarcastic letter you can do so here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html and actual Apple employees will read it.
I don't use Google on my iDevices (I default to DuckDuckGo as I'm not in the mood for giving away my information to be sold to others at this time) and have not experienced the link issue. Try it on yours and let me know if it works. If you prefer Google you could try DuckDuckGo for a bit until the Apple engineers get over their sugar buzz from bitting the ears off of chocolate bunnies.
