Q: My I-Pad received an update (download) and since then I have not been able to sign in to my I-Pad. On the Ipad screen it indicates that it has been disabeled. I have syn with Itunes but nothing happens. The password that I have been using is okay and wor

Cannot open my ipad. Have not been able to open it or sign in since it received a download/update. It is now disabled and have connected to my hp computer in hopes that it would recover and allow me to sign in and open it. Or do I have to eliminate all files, etc ? What should I do and how can I restore my laptop to operate properly

Apple has pulled the iOS 9.3 update for older devices (iPad Airs and previous, iPhone 5s and previous) due to problems with Activation. See these articles for details and possible workarounds.

A new build for the iPad 2 is now available that does not require the Activation step. A new build for the other devices is not yet available.

Start iTunes 12.3 or later on your computer and connect your iPad. Apple has replaced the iOS update to solve the problem you are experiencing.
