No DNA Server - AirPort Express

Hello!

I was using an AirPort Express to extend the network of my Time Capsule (3rd gen). John, my ATT dude came and updated our modem. I did a full, massive reboot and reset of all of the routers and computers, as this was advised after such an event, but my Express no longer works. It claims there is no DNS server to be found.

I have all of the following:

-Updated all base stations and computers to the latest OS

-Updated everything to the latest AirPort Utility

-Did a factory reset on all base stations.

I cannot seem to figure out why this is an issue after the modem change. Any ideas?

Although you may have already done this, please try the following one more time.

Make sure that the Time Capsule is not backing up at the time, then power off the Time Capsule by pulling the power cord from the back of the device

Wait a few seconds, then power the Time Capsule back up again.

Then, power off the AirPort Express by removing it from the AC socket or pulling the power cord depending on the model that you have

Temporarily, move the Express to the same room or close proximity to the Time Capsule

Power up the AirPort Express and let it run a full minute, then check to see if it is operating correctly.

If it is, move the Express back to a location where it can receive a strong wireless signal from the Time Capsule and power the Express back up again

Check to verify that things are still working.

If the Express still is not working correctly.......we'll need to know what operating system that you are using on your Mac or PC.....to provide some additional instructions.
