How to prepare Mac Mini (Late 2011) Server for sale?

How do you prepare to zero a Mac Mini Lion Server (Late 2011) that's running the latest version of El Capitan (10.11.4) and not being used as a server? Will be giving it away, and want user to be able to start over with it in as new condition.

MacBook Pro (17-inch Late 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.2)

It is pretty simple if your model came with Lion or later pre-installed. If it came with an earlier version of OS X pre-installed like Snow Leopard, then you need to boot from the original installer DVD, erase the drive, then install OS X from the installer DVD. According to my information there is no Late 2011 Mini Server. There is, however, a Mid-2011 Mini Server that came with Lion pre-installed.
