I have successfully updated my iPad air2 but when try to update my iPad and iPod touch I get a message stating unable to verify update because I am no longer connected to the internet. I am absolutely connected to the internet and also receive this message when connected to my Mac desktop. Any suggestions?

Not sure if this is for me. My problem is that I cant update.
I think you are lucky. Many folks have found out their device out of service after they tired to update. Wait apple is working on it.
