Q: iPod Nano 7th generation Jumping Battery Percentage

Hello.

I recently recieved a used 7th generation iPod Nano and the battery percentage jumps around. I will be using it and it looks like it's at half percent or lower then I turn off the screen and turn the screen back on to change the song and it will jump back up to like more then half. Is this normal or some kind of glitch that I should take to the Genius Bar? Does this mean I have a bad battery? Thanks.

Try letting the iPod play continuously, until it runs out of power.  You can let it play unattended until it stops playing by itself.  Then, connect it to power for a few hours, so that it is fully charged.  See if that makes the battery act more reliably.  It's good to occasionally drain the battery completely and then charge it completely.
