Q: Activating iPhone 5 after iOS 9.3 update
My iPhone 5 is saying "activation required" after recently updating my phone however the Apple ID that it is asking for no longer exists and therefore no password has worked for it. I typed the old Apple ID into iforgot.com to try and reset the password however it said that the Apple ID does not exist. I started a new Apple ID using the same email address hoping it would work but it refuses to recognise the Apple ID and the password as being valid when I go to activate my phone.
I have tried to do a hard reset and have plugged in my iPhone to my computer trying to reset to the factory settings however am unable to do so without activation.
I can not do anything with my phone and would love some help please
