Photoshop CS6 keeps crashing.

Hi Guys,

I don't know if this is the right forum for this Question but:

Today I worked in Photoshop and after I closed the program to do something else it wont open again.

Every single time I start it it says "The application Photoshop quit unexpectedly".

I tried to restart the Mac but it didn't help.

Here are the first few lines of the crash report:

If you need to see more just tell me and I can post the whole thing.

I would really appreciate your help.

Cheers

CS6 is not supported under 10.10.x

it is supported by

Mac OS X v10.7, v10.8, or v10.9

(source https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html)

so any issues you come across neither Apple or Adobe will ever fix.

that being said

reboot

launch photoshop from the applications folder holding down SHIFT+CMD+OPTION+CTRL

you will be prompted to restore the application preferences

this can not be performed from a shortcut or from a dock icon.

if that does not work rebuild your permisisons

Repair disk permissions with Disk Utility - Apple Support

if that does not work create a new administrative account and boot into that account.

Photoshop CS6 keeps crashing.
