Office 14.6.2 Update Installation Crashes

Not a question - just a whine. Installation paused, requiring manual closing of MS Database Daemon and SyncServicesAgent apps before installation could proceed. Found both apps with search of the Activity Monitor, only to discover they were NOT open. Persisted with clicking the proceed with installation button, and installation finally continued. Installation froze with one minute remaining. Hope you other MS Office users have better luck. Will do a cold re-boot & hope for the best. Bummer!
