I recently downloaded a game called Left 4 Dead on Steam and it didn't download as an app like other games do, it just downloaded like a code so overtime I want to play I have to sign into steam and access it from their, but I can't find it in my computer I look up the name and it doesn't show up. Every time I launch the game it open up an "exec" file and "Terminal" need help does anyone know whats going on?

Steam usually saves games into ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/ located in YOUR user account.
In finder hold down the ALT key, then click on the GO menu, then Library, navigate to the folder above. You should be aware that if you delete this folder, when you reconnect to Steam you will have to re-download everything again.
The Exec icon is present when no application on your OS X machine is known to open it. It is probably a local data/cache/instructions file that steam uses to improve online game play for Left 4 Dead. It is likely in your Downloads folder. Click on the Downloads icon next to Trash in your Dock. Lowest files on the list are the most recently downloaded.
It's not on my downloads I can't even delete it even if I wanted to, even after I play and I close it, it goes away and if I got to the Apple on top left and click recent items it doesn't pop up.
Do you know how could I delete it?
