I'm sporadically kicked off the internet on macbook pro (early 2015 running El Capitan). This happens at least 15 times a day. My other computers (both macs) on the same wifi network never get kicked off. Apple Tech Support has not been able to solve. I've tried all the usual suspects. Please send suggestions, thanks!

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

You are up in the 5GHz band, using a good wide channel.

signal strength of about -31 -85 is a truly excellent -54

your transmit rate and MCS index (rating of complexity of modulation technique) is very high, indicates you are using multiple streams with very little interference.

You should be having no problems whatsoever.

On that same menu is an Item "wireless diagnostics" it is not the same one as in system preferences. Launch that and it will check things out, then progress to this screen if it finds no immediate issues:

Just click continue and leave that window open and go about your business. If something exciting happens, you will get an alarm.

Please see Apple's recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points.

Notwithstanding those recommendations, some routers work better with late-model Macs if you disable the 2.4 GHz radio mode in the settings and use only the 5 GHz mode. Note, however, that very old Apple devices and some third-party devices may then not connect at all.

Some third-party routers have advanced settings that you may need to change:

The encryption algorithm should be AES.

The group-key interval should be 3200.

I've spoken with apple, done the test they asked for. There seems to be nothing wrong with my computer nor operating system. The whole thing is a mystery to the folks and Time Warner and the techies at Apple. The last tech guy at Apply thought it might be that my computers (3 of them) were sharing an IP address and kicking each other off - but I did what he suggested to check this and that is not the problem. Ugh!
