I searched and searched and can't find the answer to what should be a simple question. I have Apple TV. I want to stream home movies from my Mac to my Apple TV. I've turned on Home Sharing in iTunes and on the Apple TV. Where do I put my home movies on my Mac? Which folder?

As far as I know, you just add them to iTunes. Once they are in your iTunes library they should show up on your ATV.
I use Plex myself though.

Because videos go in the music folder, everyone knows that. 😉

Do, I gave up on iTunes a long time ago, except purely for music library management.
With Plex, depending on your TV capabilities it might even have an App. My Samsung Smart TV has a Plex app built in, less wires, less electricity, less hassle. Alex is free too.
