You are using Two-step verification, which is trying to display a pop-up window to request the code in Safari.

You should be seeing a code on the iPhone 6 or iPad Mini. The code should not show up "on these two devices"; it should only appear on one device - the one that you choose.
Perhaps you should tell us exactly the sequence of events you see and your responses to them.

Mar 26, 2016 3:07 PM in response to sbermanby Elllie89,When I type the password for my Apple ID it writes that verification code is required to connect to App store and that it will be send to my other devices - it appears on my iPad and on my iPhone too. It says that I need to allow it, so I allow it (I tried it on iPhone and then on iPad too) and then the code appears. But there is no place on MacBook where I could rewrite it.

Mar 26, 2016 3:19 PM in response to Elllie89by sberman,Assuming you in fact have two-step verification enabled, I'll walk you through what I see so you can compare.
First, I see this appear when performing an operation that needs two-step verification:
Next, my iPhone (which I selected above) will be sent the code as shown here:
Finally, where the first screen had displayed shown at the top above, I will be given the opportunity to enter the code from the iPhone as shown here:
Is this exactly what you are seeing? If not, how is anything different?

Mar 26, 2016 3:45 PM in response to sbermanby Elllie89,Nope, I don't see it like that. It is not given me a choice whether I want the code appear on iPhone or iPad. It just tells me that it will appear on my other devices and it does, but on MacBook there is no place where I could write this code. But now I tried to turn off two-step verification and it is working. I am connected to App store. But I want to have the two-step verification on, so I will probably need to go to some Apple store and ask for help.

Two-step verification should work as I illustrated above. Here is more reading:

But turning it off for now sounds like the right thing to have done.

Mar 26, 2016 3:57 PM in response to sbermanby Elllie89,Thank you for your time and for your advices :-) It says that I can't turn on the two-step verification until 29.3. - so then I will see.
