Is there a car charger/fm transmitter that works with an iPhone 6S? I have used a Belkin but with my new 6S it suddenly just cuts out. If I unplug it and try again it will work again. Just annoying on local trips but not really safe on the highway.
there are many which just connects to the 3.5mm minijack connector so you can connect a charger to the lighting connector at the same time
I've been using one for years with my 5 and 6 but I have issues with the 6S. I spoke to Apple about the music suddenly stopping and their reply was it was a software thing. I am wondering if there is one more compatible with the 6S.
if it connects to the 3.5mm minijack port then in the eyes of the ios device it's just another headset
so if it does not play then I would test with a normal headset and test the fm transmitter with another device then the phone
3.5mm minijack is just everywhere so you can test with any laptop, tablet, phone or stereo
and all headsets if you test the phones connector
For an iPhone 5 or 6, the best solution for this is a cable that provides both charging and "aux out" from the Lightning connection. Much better than FM transmitters. Check eBay for the "Lightning Sounds Kit".
