Q: iCloud photos

I have my pictures backed up to a computer, but they are also backed up to iCloud. If I delete them from my phone, will they stay in iCloud or does it update each time you back your phone up to iCloud?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.2.1

iCloud is more a syncing service than a genuine backup per se
If you delete the photos off your phone - and iCloud Photo Stream is on - then they will be deleted from iCloud as well
