Having problems with wifi, bluetooth and gps in my iphone 6 after iOS update

After last iOS 9.3 update my iphone 6 is having problems with wifi, bluetooth and gps. My wifi connection now is more slow and drops easily in a short distance. My bluetooth does the same. But the most important problem is my phone's GPS. I tried everything lile:

-Doing a network reset

-Doing a total reset and restore in my phone

-Doing reboot my phone two times.

- Checking and unnistalling third party apps

Nothing work. I was in the apple store where they checked my phone and they say everything is ok with the phone. I'm not crazy and I know when something is not working properly. Also I believe that is iOS 9.3 update the one reaponsible for my phone problems.

Please fix those bugs fast.

I have the same exact problem as you guys.... it's about 3 weeks now about my gps, wifi and bluetooth and now recently i notice my cellular signal is going down aswell... harder to get my 4G LTE signal, as you all know i reported this to apple support service with case ID#1083865944... and they told me it's a hardware issue and i had to pay for €257.00 for the repair charge because my iphone 6 was out of warranty.but i am in 2 years contract with my phone proverder.. and my iphone was running perfectly until there recent update 9.3 ios, if i had known, i did not update. THis is what you call Apple first class service they acknowledge the problem but they let the loyal customer pay for it.

So guys if you are looking for a fix, well well there is no fix , just shell out € 250.00 for the repair to Apple...

I had the same problem.

After update to firmware 9.3 ( and later 9.3.1), my Wifi signal seems to be really low in the location where it usually get strong signal.

I got only 1 bar, for 8 meter distance from my router. and after a while, i cant connect to wifi anymore due to low signal..

My GPS signal is in-consistence, when using apple map. And when Using Waze, GPS reseption is not detected.

I've reset the network connection, and i also already restore a fresh default firmware. Still no result. i've reinstalled waze.

I'm currently requesting support from Apple contact center.

There must be something wrong with 9.3 ios update that damage the hardware i assume.

I also restored my phone to a backup -- no improvement. I backed up my phone and restored as a new iPhone -- no improvement. I've uninstalled and reinstalled google maps, tried it with the apple maps program -- no difference. I've reset my network settings -- no improvement. I went into the apple store and they did a restore with no improvement and told me that if the problem doesn't go away after the restore it must be a hardware issue. I'm obviously really irritated as my phone worked perfectly well until the 9.3 update and they are now telling me I need to either buy a new iPhone (6, out of warranty) or live with it.

Had the same issue with a perfectly fine wifi signal, after updating to 9.3.1.

My wifi signal suddenly started to become weaker and weaker on IPhone 6 while working as usual on all my other devices., so I concluded I didn't have an issue of a faulty router, but rather an issue with my IPhone 6 after the update.

The issues continued for a couple of days until I started receiving a password error and eventually was unable to see the wifi signal at all on my IPhone 6.

My internet router had the option to select between the standard wifi connection and a faster 5G signal.

Selecting the 5G option solved the issue. I suppose the IOS 9.3.1 update came also with a fix for a faster wifi connections creating a conflict with the slower signal I had been using before.

In my case, my Wireless router is only 2.4 ghz Router.

I could confirm that it's not the router, but the Iphone itself.

I have other device ( android phone, iphone 5s and iphone 6s ) on the same spot showing full wifi signal strengh, while my iphone 6 with the 9.3.1 update shows me 1-2 bar strength only.

On top of that, i notice that my GPS signal also not detected on waze. I could still somehow get the GPS position, but the result is inconsistent ( not accurate) . Waze keep showing that the GPS signal is not detected.

IM glad I found this page! I thought I was crazy too! So far I haven't found anything that's fixed the issue. Apple said everything was fine with my phone and my modem and router are fine too.

I Have problems with wifi going in and out of signal, one bar or less only walking a few feet away from my modem, no Bluetooth connectivity and GPS cannot locate me. If it does it shows me on some side road each time I try to use GPS.

i Work from home and since I cannot access wifi on my phone, I had to switch to a different plan wmoth my cellphone provider to not be charged $15/$30 a day for data overages.

ive tried the following:

back up to iTunes and complete restore

reset network settings

reset all settings

disable wifi networking

forgot wifi network

hard resets

troubleshoot wifi service with my internet provider (everything was fine), every other device or computer has no issues connecting

diagnostic test with Apple Support (everythint was "fine")

what hat a pain in the ***!

Does your GPS signal also gone or inaccurate ?

I noticed my gps is not available when i open up waze app. On google map or apple map, they're still showing approximate position, but not accurate.

I recommend you to contact apple support via online, and choose the option for them to call you. It will be still available even though your iphone is out of warranty( by clicking the exception after 9.3 upgrade)

Contact Apple Support

I did this , and someone from apple contact me to get more details data.

More people complain, i hope that apple will take care of this problem faster.

I address this issue and complain on the forum to the apple support that i contacted.

But he told me that there's no significant complain regarding this issue yet.

Posting in this forum only, will not make apple aware of these issues.

I too have the same problems with my Iphone. Happy to see I am not alone. I've tried every solution mentioned on this thread. My biggest issue is the GPS not following my movement. I heavily rely on the maps app to get me where I need to go...hoping this issue is resolved SOON! MY phone is the only one (out of 4 in my household) with this issue. So Frustrating!

Yep, same problem for at least a month. My roomate can connect to wifi easily, so it's not our router. I can't use any of my maps. Frankly, this is dangerous. A lot of Apple users rely on the gps function. I drive a lot and not only do I use the directions often, I also tell my friends and family where I'm going so they can track me if need be. I tried switching to Android the last time I had an upgrade with my provider and didnt like it, but I'm going to have to switch if this doesn't get fixed soon. This is unacceptable and should have been fixed a month ago.
