Having problems with wifi, bluetooth and gps in my iphone 6 after iOS update

After last iOS 9.3 update my iphone 6 is having problems with wifi, bluetooth and gps. My wifi connection now is more slow and drops easily in a short distance. My bluetooth does the same. But the most important problem is my phone's GPS. I tried everything lile:

-Doing a network reset

-Doing a total reset and restore in my phone

-Doing reboot my phone two times.

- Checking and unnistalling third party apps

Nothing work. I was in the apple store where they checked my phone and they say everything is ok with the phone. I'm not crazy and I know when something is not working properly. Also I believe that is iOS 9.3 update the one reaponsible for my phone problems.

Please fix those bugs fast.

good to see after 7 pages and half a year of people airing the issues, that there is still no solid fix for this issue.

I'm booked into the Genius Bar for them to check it out.

I'm not really keen on paying for a repair (especially if people have quoted over $200)

in that case I will be following the lead from these page and try and repair my self

Having the same problem on the iPhone 6s 64GB, all of a sudden the GPS just stopped working, following by not being able to see the wifi network unless the phone is less than 10 to 15ft from the wireless router. This is a hardware problem and Apple needs to stand behind their product. It is not acceptable that a $600+ device will have such major hardware problems and the vendor will not do a recall. The phone is only 15 months old and is not basically useless. Apple support needs to take notice or maybe customers should start to switch to a different vendor.

After two hours with apple support I finally think the problem is fixed. I was having the same exact problems with wifi, bluetooth and GPS tracking. What the agent had me do was first back my phone up to itunes or icloud (i chose itunes). Then she had me turn off Find my iphone for whatever reason: Settings> your name> iCloud> Find my iphone. Then go to "restore iphone" in itunes. That extracts the current software on the device and places new software on the phone. There is a little down pointing arrow in the top right corner with a spinning circle to tell you how long it will take for you computer to download the software (it takes a long time, maybe 20-30 min). After a long wait your phone will get to the "Hello" screen. Go to itunes on your computer and you should see "Restore Backup". Click on that and wait for it to restore. Again, it will take a long time: up to 40 min for mine. Then your phone will finally come back to life and all of your apps will start downloading one by one. Another long process but in the end my GPS, wifi and bluetooth all seemed to be working A LOT better. Side note: I'll be downloading all future updates directly from my computer and not through wifi like I have in the past. Apparently when you plug it into the computer it removes all old software and installs the new version. When you download it from wifi it just overrides it and depending on wifi connection and such it can cause problems with your update. This entire process took about 2 hours, so make sure you have plenty of time to sit around and not make/receive phone calls before you attempt this. Hope that helps!

I the same problem, friends. It started with GPS Having me out by anywhere from 100 meters to 50 miles.

Then the Bluetooth got bad... had to rest my phone on top of my bose for it to work.

Next thing I know, need the phone on the router to get wifi. I found this form:

anyone still having this problem? i spent the best part of 2 hours on the phone with apple support today to try and solve this. for about 2 weeks now, my phone has been unusable. i have a 64gb iphone 6, and its still in warranty for 13 days. i reset my network statistics, hard-rebooted my phone, restored my phone to factory settings and tweaked various other settings the support line told me to, all with no avail. i now have a phone that i can barely make calls or texts on, with a bunch of apps waiting to redownload (and no way to download them without wifi) or gps features. ridiculous that i paid around £700 for this less than 2 years ago only for it to pack up on me now. fix this apple, its embarrassing.

I am having this same problem, after a lot of research I have found a possible solution. I believe it might have to do with the Logic board antenna flex cable inside of the phone. I have not gotten mine fixed yet so I cannot give you an exact answer as if this will fix it or not. I will post an update as soon as I know! Hopefully this helps some others!

I'm having the same issue. My Wifi connection is sketchy. The GPS works OK if I'm stationary, but it goes to lunch if I'm driving. The location services thinks that I'm up to 1/4- to 1/2-mile away from my actual location, which makes the phone a brick in terms of being a navigation assistant.

I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 10.3.3.

The Genius Bar and my wireless provider's app both say that my GPS antenna is fine. I've completely reset and restored the phone twice now. I've gone through all the other usual steps - reset other settings, delete apps. Wifi, Bluetooth, and location services are all on.

Is it possible that I dropped the phone hard enough to have caused physical damage but the diagnostics still think the antenna is OK?

I think the Bluetooth antenna may be on the fritz as well. Yesterday I stood side-by-side with someone at a Bluetooth-enabled vending machine. Their phone recognized the machine just fine and brought them to the screen that will let them start a transaction. My phone sees the machine, but usually it won't let me start a transaction except on a few rare instances. Yesterday's conversation confirmed that the issue is my phone, not the vending machine, and now I am more and more convinced that I possibly have a self-inflicted hardware issue.

I've seen posts on other forums where people had to replace the antenna on their own. Doing so invalidates Apple's warranty, so as you can imagine, Apple discourages that approach.

I'm having the exact same problem. Can't use wifi within 10 feet of ANY router. I went to my local Apple Store and they told me to restore it and back it up. (Plug into computer and open iTunes, hold the power button and home button until restore option comes up). Unfortunately, this did not work for me. But maybe it will for you! Best of luck!

My iPhone 6 was experiencing Wi-Fi reception degradation, and then two weeks ago the GPS just stopped working--at first just showing me in 100-300m away from my actual position, to not working in any Guidance apps (i.e. Waze, Maps, Google Maps) at all.

After trying all the software fixes (reboot, restore, etc.), I researched and found many iPhone 6 users had Antenna Flex Cables that went back (broken, brittle, stopped conducting). I purchased the Antenna Flex Cable repair kit (includes part and tools) from iFixit ($21.50 delivered), and after working slowly had the Antenna Flex Cable repaired in about an hour.

Voila! Wi-Fi is back and strong, and GPS Guidance is functioning 100% again. For those of you who've tried with no success all the software fixes, I highly suggest you try this hardware fix.

I have been having the same problem with my GPS for quite a while now. Finally received I watch three for Christmas could not wait to try the GPS of course it has the same issues as my phone can’t find me can’t track me starting points never move? How can this be. If I knew it was never going to work again I would buy a Samsung. Lot cheaper the all my Apple ipad. I watch. I phones. Wireless ear buds. Etc. really. No gps in this day and age? I would be embarrassed if I were them.

Having the exact same issues since the upgrade. Also, battery now drains really quickly and phone gets very hot at times. Took it to Genius Bar and was told everything was normal in diagnostic tests. Restored, rebooted, etc., and still having same problems. GPS locates me, but then won't follow my movement at all and says to go outside as gps is not detected even though I am outside. Bluetooth connection to car and watch drops intermittently. Wifi signal is greatly reduced and drops easily.
