Q: Having problems with wifi, bluetooth and gps in my iphone 6 after iOS update

After last iOS 9.3 update my iphone 6 is having problems with wifi, bluetooth and gps. My wifi connection now is more slow and drops easily in a short distance. My bluetooth does the same. But the most important problem is my phone's GPS. I tried everything lile:

-Doing a network reset

-Doing a total reset and restore in my phone

-Doing reboot my phone two times.

- Checking and unnistalling third party apps

Nothing work. I was in the apple store where they checked my phone and they say everything is ok with the phone. I'm not crazy and I know when something is not working properly. Also I believe that is iOS 9.3 update the one reaponsible for my phone problems.

Please fix those bugs fast.

    Hi There,

I have an iphone 6 and have been in Mexico for one week, and for some reason since about 24 hours of being in Mexico, I've been unable to access ANY wifi networks at any of the places I've been staying (it worked fine at first, but then simply stopped and now no networks show up - whereas my wife has no problems on her iphone 6).

I've tried EVERYTHING I've read online about trying to sort out all kinds of network troubles and nothing seems to fix the issue. My last resort seems to be resetting my phone, but now for some reason I can't even turn off the 'find my phone' function on my own phone because I'm not online (I get an error message about not being able to contact the network).

Just wondering if anyone might be able to help me at all. I'm unable to make any calls from here in Mexico, but I can use email on my macbook pro. Any help would be much appreciated! I desperately need to use my phone online, and it seems really unfair that I have a perfectly good iphone 6, which I paid a lot of money for, and I can't even use it!

Also, I tried contacting Apple support Aust online, but apparently my phone is too old for any assistance(!). Alas. Thus my only option it seems is o post on this fourm.

    Kind Regards,

    Ben

I don't think this is a bug. I've had two iPhone 6 Plus's exhibit this behavior. The first was replaced under warranty last year. I just repaired the second.

There is a bad connection on the wifi/bluetooth antenna. You can purchase a replacement Wifi Antenna Flex Cable on Amazon for < $15 with tools, and there are a number of videos on YouTube that show how to replace it.

I replaced mine 2 days ago, but still had the problem. After further research I realize this is a bad electrical connection. I disassembled the phone again and made extra effort to ensure the connection from the flex cable to the antenna (basically the end of the aluminum case) was good. I put it back together and it's working perfectly.

Symptoms: weak wifi signal, bounces between wifi and LTE. Bluetooth devices have a bad connection (such as breaking up on audio). Placing your hand over the antenna (cup your hand over the camera end of the phone) causes wifi and bluetooth to drop to unusable levels. (if I put my bluetooth headphones on and put my phone behind my leg they lost their connection)

This is completely repairable. I suspect the replacement cable isn't even necessary.

I had this problem with my iPhone 6.

13 months after purchase, my GPS and bluetooth suddenly became so weak as to be unusable.

Apple Store wanted approx £250 for new handset.

Instead I bought an antenna flex cable and toolset for approx £12, and replaced this myself.

The phone now works perfectly. see fixit.
